My first trip to Europe was courtesy of the US Government, drafted as a teenager into the Army, I was sent screaming and kicking to Frankfurt Germany where I spent the next two years. What a stroke of luck! I got to see Europe before modern communications and travel brought the world into our living rooms. I had two years of adventure that I never dreamed of, capturing much of it with my Kodak Brownie. I developed a love of travel that has taken me around the world and is still the essence of my life. I introduced my two boys to the joys of travel and photography that they enthusiastically embrace and have adopted as professions. Please enjoy the adventure in this website, it's mostly recent, but some of the photos reach back my days as an army private seeing the world before it became so small.
